Independent Art World gives art a platform to give artists a supportive network that will build and enrich the community. Art is an important element in today's society, it provides a means of expression that is necessary for human kind's growth and development which will in turn create a stronger bond of togetherness on a global scale.
This ideology is made to disentangle gentrification, it does not push people out because of their income or class, it pushes people in, regardless of their income or class.
Where as gentrification pushes not only the starving artist out of their home but also the ones starving, although not artists but in poverty as well. Independent Art World is the opposite of that.
Independent Art World started in 2016 and has been using this ideology to improve one of the most impoverished cities in America, Jersey City.
Helping the starving artists will allow them to continue creating their work regardless of their affordability which will inspire other artists and those not sought after as artists themselves to see their own artistic capabilities which Independent Art World believes will greatly improve their lives and those around them.
The funds will be used to rent out space to exhibit art work and conduct interactive shows, provide supplies, food and refreshments, provide labor and support, create exposure for art in the community with content through video and other forms of media.
We need these funds by September 27th, this will allow us to smoothly create the amazing Limitless Exhibition in Jersey City, our first gallery showing.
Independent Art World believes that art exists in everything, every being everywhere.
The goal is to illuminate this concept to create a better world for all. We believe this concept will creater a greater sense of peace and leave a smaller imprint upon our beautiful earth.
