In memory of Ian

on August 8 our family suffered a devastating loss. My sister went into the hospital with labor pains. She was 8 months pregnant with her first son, due on Sep 6th. When she got to the hospital they were unable to find the babies heartbeat. After several attempts they were still unsuccessful. My amazing sister received the worse news any parent could get, she had lost the baby. A few hours later she gave birth to their son Ian.  She is absolutely heartbroken and the family is devastated. Her two younger daughters are now experiencing the loss of a brother they were so looking forward to having in their lives. Our family was en route for her baby shower scheduled for this Saturday the 12th. Now we have to plan for a funeral instead. God has chosen Ian as one of his angels. Facing the fact of losing her child so close to finally welcoming him into this loving family we now have to plan for the unimaginable. The insurance is not likely to cover the costs of the funeral and we are turning to the kindness of family, friends and strangers to help us raise the money to lay our angel to rest. Please take a few moments to spread the news of this devastation and unspeakable loss. Those of you who know our family know how close we are and the love we share. It's been a roller coaster of emotions. We've all cried together and have turned to our family and faith to get us through this ordeal. Our hearts are broken and nothing can replace the loss we've experienced. Those who know my sister and her family know the love these kids have for one another. They know what an amazing mother my sister is and the loving father Ryan is.
