Missions to Guatemala 2015

Greetings from Immanuel Lutheran Young Adults!
We've been blessed with an opportunity to spend a week in Guatemala to share God's love. Our team will be joining with an organization that goes by the name CALMS ( Connecting and Advancing Leaders and Missions and Service). Some of the events we have planned are:
- Prayer walks
- Assisting with small services
- Home visits
- Worship and more..
The main purpose of the trip is to bless and encourage the people and churches in that area, but the trip will also undoubtedly serve as an eye opening opportunity for us to learn and grow in our own personal faiths and ministries. As you all very well know, traveling to distant places can cost a lot. That being said, we know full well that God will provide for us through both what he has already given us and through the generous support of His people. We do not ask for financial support primarily but for prayer. We know God has placed this opportunity to go in front of us and wait with expectation to worship and serve with our brothers and sisters in Christ in Guatemala. Please cover us in prayer as we prepare! Thank you!
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” -Matthew 28:18-20
