AMC Icon Screen Restoration

The icon screen, called ‘Iconostasion Templo’, in the Orthodox Church serves an important function within Orthodox Christian worship and represents the living presence of the Heavenly Church in the midst of the Earthly Church. Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church was first opened in Campbell, Ohio, on Sunday, November 13, 1955, and held its first worship service that morning. It is now sixty years later and time has taken its toll on this sacred structure. We are in genuine need of your financial support in restoring the Templo to its pristine condition. The project has received a cost quote of $65K. The Ladies Philoptochos Society of Archangel Michael Church has taken on the responsibility to see this project through to its completion.  While we earnestly work to raise funds from within our parish, we also need to reach out to interested persons who would like to contribute to the beautification of our sanctuary. The results will tangibly be experienced when you join with us in worshipping God in this sacred space! Please note that the original icons will remain untouched.  It is the wooden structure and filagree that will be restored.  Many thanks again!
