My name is Mercedes Griffeth and I am an actress born in Arkansas and now based in New York City. I've been in a few TV shows (CBS Person of Interest, Netflix Orange Is The New Black) and have filmed a few short and independent films, I was also in an off-broadway play: "The Woodsman", written by Steven Fechter and Directed by Alex Dinelaris. Recently, I found out that a movie I have a supporting role in, Advantageous , Directed by Jennifer Phang, has been picked to go the Sundance Film Festival. The festival is held in Utah and the dates for it are January 22nd through February 2nd. I am asking for your support to help me pay for travel funds. It would mean the absolute world to me to get to go see my movie world premier at SUNDANCE. Going to this festival would also open up lots of opportunities for me as an actress and it would be an amazing once in a lifetime experience.
