Because we believe that magic exists and dreams come true, we dare you to believe in the magic that a trip to Disney can help a child's perspective of life. We've seen it in the last few months when children from Ecuador, Bolivia, Colombia and Mexico have traveled to the US to live the dream. These children are undergoing treatment for different types of cancer. Each month 10 children from our continent experience a week in Southern California and visit amusement parks and museums. This trip inspires them to visualize themselves ( being) healthy and return to their home countries with hope and full of energy to continue the fight.
CANICA USA provides each group with lodging, local transportation, meals, parks and museum fees. Our monthly expense is $10,000.00
We are so excited to host our 6th group this year, this time children from SANAR Foundation from Bogota, Colombia will be able to forget about cancer and live life to the fullest!
While we know that you can put your money in research and other causes, please consider that a positive attitude towards cancer can change a child's perspective of life and by seeing the world outside the hospital they can regain energy to continue to fight this disease!
