I am a 24 year old full-time student (Junior) in California, at Laguna College of Art and Design studying to be a painter and illustrator, originally from Massachusetts. I brought my 6 year old kitty, Mischief and his sister Aura here from Massachusetts to have a family while in school. Aside from being a full time student, I also do some part time work. My boy mischief is a very sweet 6-year old Bombay-looking black rescue kitty whom I had since he was a little kitten. He is my companion and my best friend.
Mischief has developed urinary tract syndrome and for a while I was desperate to keep him alive. Since initial simpler procedures failed Mischief recently had a surgery where his urethra was trimmed back to create a larger opening for crystals (which are like bladder stones) to come out. It is called Perineal Uretrhrostomy.
I already spent close to $3000 in last two to three months on his previous procedures. This included all emergency money, work money, parent money and friends money to keep him alive, however, his condition was bad enough that first couple procedures failed and my dear Mischief needed the surgery.
Mischief is almost out of the woods now, and recovering nicely from the surgery, and his only risk now is making sure I give him his anti-biotic on time. Mischief's surgery was only made possible with the help of a local rescue who was willing to make me a short term loan to save his life. We already paid back a part of the $1200 bill for the surgery, and really need your help to repay the wonderful rescue people and the doctors who helped and ensure Mischief's full recovery, so the rescue can continue to help other kitties in need.
