I am trying to raise money for my mom Kim to be able to afford a Wheelchair accessible van.
She was diagnosed with Progressive MS in her mid 20's and now at 47 she is permenantly confined to a wheelchair. She has not been able to walk in over 2 years, and has not been able to leave the house in almost a year due to living in a small community with no vehicles for wheelchairs and not being able to afford one themselves.
She was always a very active and social person so to be unable to go and do something as simple as her own grocery shopping is very depressing.
If we can raise some money to help get a van she will once again have some freedom and enjoyment in her life.
This is a very hard time to ask for money but any amount is greatly appreciated and we thank you in advance!!
