Megan's Medical Treatment

Donation protected
My name is Becki Pierce and I am helping the Holloway family raise money to help cover their daughters on going medical expenses.  This is their story of how their life changed so drastically one afternoon. This could be any of us, our lives could be changed in an instant. I am asking all of you to help this amazing family out. This family is one that usually is in the postion of helping others, now it's time for us to help them.  Please help!
One beautiful fall day, 15 year old Megan Holloway, went on a ride with her best friend on an ATV around their neighborhood. Megan was in an ATV accident that afternoon on  Sept 23, 2013. She was life flighted to St Francis hospital. It was discovered during her stay that she suffered a traumatic brain injury. She remained in the hospital for 3 weeks. Inpatient therapy was difficult but necessary. Megan's brain and body needed help working together to remember how to walk and take care of daily tasks. She suffered from daily headaches that made her physically sick. Things that once were easy for her are now very difficult. Megan excelled in school and was in advanced classes and on the honor roll. She now struggles because she has suffered memory loss, personality changes, mood and emotional changes. Megan has a frontal brain injury which affects her emotions and memory. These would be difficult for anyone to deal with but especially a growing teenager. These are all common side effects from a brain injury like Megans. Her outpatient therapy continues. She just completed her physical therapy last month due to an injury in her back from the accident. She continues speech and memory therapy. Doctors tell us her recovery will be slow because her brain needs time to heal and essentially rewire the injured parts. Megan has worked so hard but struggles daily with things that may come easy to others.

Megan's doctor and one of her therapists have suggested we take her to the Renu You Center in Tulsa for Neuro feedback. They specialize in working and studying the brain. We are very opitimistic that this will help Megan in her recovery. This center does not accept insurance. They are a private pay facility. The cost of the testing is $500. Treatments are sold in blocks of 20 sessions for $2300.
We are raising money for the Holloway family to make sure that Megan can receive the treatment she needs to progress.
