Shaving For Schilly

It brings us with great sadness to report that on September 2nd of this year, Cape Girardeau resident Mathew Schellingerhout has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Since then he has undergone multiple chemo therapies and hospital visits.

On Sunday, December 14th The men of Delta Chi at Southeast Missouri State University are hosting a fundraising event to help raise funds in order to assist with his medical bills.  The event will take place at the Universities on campus house, located at 1000 Towers Circle, G Building,Cape Girardeau, MO 63701. Each participant will shave their head in order to support Matt during this difficult time.

For those of you who have had the pleasure of getting to know Matt over the years you would agree that he is a fun-loving, kind hearted person with a great sense of humor. Matt has multiple supporters by his side during this, but the ongoing treatment will be a heavy financial burden for him and his family. Any proceed donated will be greatly appreciated,
