MasquerAIDS 2015: Don't Forget Me
Donation protected
The Penn State Thespians are ready to kick spring semester off with our annual benefit show, MasquerAIDS. This one night performance is our way of showing support to those living with HIV/AIDS in the surrounding community (and across the world). This year, the Thespians have selected AIDS Resource Alliance as the MasquerAIDS 2015 beneficiary.
In an effort to encompass our message, we’ve chosen a theme that asks the question “Is it better to be remembered by millions, or never forgotten by one?” Our show’s message is delivered through the lives of Marilyn Monroe and Freddie Mercury along with help from our talented cast of “Bohemians”. MasquerAIDS 2015: Don’t Forget Me is going to be our best show yet!
While we’re extremely fortunate to have the support of the Paul Robeson Cultural Center at Penn State, we still need some help to make our production as successful as possible! Many local businesses have already done their part by generously donating gifts to our silent auction, but now we’re turning to our biggest supporters: you!
Creating a show that begs to not be forogtten can get a little pricey, though; your donations can help make M’AIDS 2015 the spectacle we know it can be! With the holidays coming up, there’s no greater gift than giving back to the community and PSU Thespians would greatly appreciate anything you could donate in order for us to maximize our profits-which all go straight to Center County AIDS Resource!
As an added thank you: Anyone who is able to donate more than $10 will receive recognition for their generosity in our program this year!
