So I've modified the goal and details a bit since the first video... 

WHAT I'M AIMING TO DO HERE 

-#1] Create a Volunteership by me for my local  community in order to help raise money for the Rising Star Scholarship. If there is an organization you'd like to suggest I work for when you donate, please let me know. I will be posting pictures and videos, and more on my Facebook Page  and this campaign page as the hours are served with the organizations so you can see the result of your graciousness. $1= 1 Minute. I've already spent 1 hour thus far bringing Holiday Cheer to some amazing little ones at TMC.

- #2] Create a UGMA Trust/Scholarship for a music student. I'm calling it the "Rising Star". In order to win this scholarship the student must simply be under 18, perform a live original music performance and upload it to YouTube, fill out the "Rising Star" application which will be available on my website , and email both to me at jacobacostamusic[at]gmail.com. 100% of every donation to this campaign will now go into this scholarship. After this campaign has ended I will choose 1 Music Student as the Grand Winner. Specific guidelines will be further explained on the application. You will need both a submitted video and application to be considered. If you would like to submit your application by regular mail, send it to the address below.

- #3] I will also be doing my 2015 National Tour Show circuit as Free Shows. Booking will begin after the campaign commences. I will also be recording a new record for this! This will be a gift to all of you who will have helped me in my endeavors as  musician. As a former educator who believes that exemplary music students shouldn't have to go into debt to achieve their dreams, this is my aim.

The "Jacob Acosta Stimulus Package" Campaign will only run for 60 days. So on January 23rd you will no longer be able to donate. This is good for my sanity of course too, since I am running this completely solo. The page will remain searchable though so I can update all of you awesome folks who helped and let you know how everything worked out.
