We are asking you to help us raise the funds.

Heroes Helping Heroes, Inc. , a division of Whole Health Global Ministries, is a non-profit organization that provides annual week-long “Seeds of Hope” summer day camps and monthly mentoring programs to foster, adopted, and at-risk children grades K-8. These programs are free of charge to participants and their caregivers. The objective of these programs is to surround these children and their biological or surrogate families with a community support network founded in hope, faith, and love.
The "Seeds of Hope" team completed the fifth year of summer camp in 2014 and began the fourth year of its mentorship program as of Sept. 2014. These efforts have specifically focused on this population of vulnerable and under resourced children residing in Stokes, Surry, Forsyth and Yadkin Counties of North Carolina as well as other adjacent areas. In October 2013, Heroes Helping Heroes  expanded their “Seeds of Hope” programming focus to include classes and workshops for caregivers (biological/foster/adopted parents, grandparents, and custodians/guardians) while their children are attending the monthly mentoring programs. Parent session topics have included: financial management workshops, internet security workshops, sensory disorder and ADHD informational classes, community resource workshops, health/nutrition and fitness classes. Our goal is to create an educational forum allowing caregivers the opportunity to broaden parenting skills, enrich relationships with their children, and in some cases, overcome generational patterns of abuse, neglect, and dependency.
As of July 2014, Heroes Helping Heroes has served over 274 individual children at no cost to them or their families. "Seeds of Hope" program staff all serve on a voluntary basis and its members are comprised of both local youth and adult community leaders. There is a major emphasis on allowing youth to serve as positive and relatable role models. Consequently, these programs have proven to be a rich training ground for rising youth leaders.
Program funding to date has come in the form of grass roots efforts such as an annual motorcycle ride, an annual bicycling event, soliciting private donations, and applying for grants. Facilities for summer camp and monthly events are generously provided by local schools while area churches have graciously allowed program goods, materials, and food to be stored in used space. Program leaders coordinate and function out of their homes or public meeting spaces.
It is our desire purchase land and seed the construction of an office/storage space suitable for carrying out the day to day functionality of operating the "Seeds of Hope" programs.
