High Point Community Dog Park
Donation protected
Good news! Plans are in place to build a dog park at 836 W. Lexington Ave, High Point, NC 27262 for the greater High Point community.
The public dog park will be located on property adjacent to Forest Hills Presbyterian Church in a comfortable, well-shaded spot. The dog park would be visible from Lexington Ave. and easily accessible.
It will be 100’ x 60’ (or 6000 square feet). A sturdy chain link fence will provide safety and security for our beloved pets. A nearby well will pump fresh, clean water. Installation of 4-5 freestanding benches will provide comfortable, shaded seating for owners. Waste bins and waste stations will be provided. Service and maintenance of the property will be provided regularly.
Our congregation saw a need in the community and the means to help fulfill that need, but we can't do it alone! We invite you to donate to this community project so that we can give High Point the safe, friendly dog park it needs. If you’re a dog owner in the greater High Point area, then you surely know the joy of giving our dearest four-legged friends the opportunity to socialize with other dogs. And if we meet a human friend or two, that's ok too!
