HopeLine's Back to School Festival

Please help with us in our upcoming HopeLine's Open House and Back to School Street Festival. The goal of this event is to connect and serve our local communities, and to provide a means of awareness to the services that are available to assist them in their day to day lives.

For the past 20 years, the Hopeline has grown to serve over 10,000 people each year and has expanded its scope of services, now utilizing a three-pronged approach such as a food pantry, clothing bank, ESL, Citizenship and Computer classes to intervene in the cycle of poverty so prevalent in the South Bronx.

The Back to School & Open House Street Festival will take place on Saturday August 10th, 2013 from 1:00-5:00pm in the Bronx on 152nd Street between Melrose and Third Avenue. Since we recently moved to our current location, the main goal of this event is to showcase the programs we offer, the other programs offered in our community and to provide educational giveaways to our children for success.

This event will be an opportunity for families and children to see what services we provide to the local community and connect with them on an individual basis. We are expecting this Open House and Back to School Street Festival to be a success and we would love to have your cooperation. In addition, we are striving to give out book bags and school supplies for the children in the community. Please join us in reaching our goal to support the needs in our community.

Thank You for your support.
