Hope House Farms is a 501(c)3 established to empower foster and adoptive families in Moldova with sustainability through agriculture. There are 50,000 children in this tiny country who need forever families. There are many couples ready to welcome these kids into their families...but they need a boost for economic viability.
I have been developing this for 3 years. Now with a parent organization, SweetSleep.org , Moldovan staff, and a board of advisors we are ready to launch!
We need to go to Moldova in July for a round of meetings with village pastors, fostering parents, agri-business and micro-enterprise leaders, social welfare and child protective services case workers. Our team will participate in Sweet Sleep's summer camp with 120 orphans and adoptive families. We will assess family-based children's homes for new income-generating agri-projects. We will also consult with current successful income generating agri-projects and their developers.
