Send Hope High School Football to Camp

Hope High School is an urban school located within Providence, RI. Being such puts them at a disadvantage to other schools when it comes to budgets for things such as extracurricular activities and organized sports teams. US News lists Hope High School as having a student body composed of 92% minorities and of that student body a staggering 77% are economically disadvantaged. The Hope High School Varsity Football team are a group of talented, dedicated football players who work hard to achieve their dream of becoming state champions next season. They deserve to have access to the best coaching and training just as players from less economically challenged schools do. Every summer colleges and professional teams in the area put on camps for high school players to improve on their current skills and learn new ones. Access to this training can help enable these players to land exposure to crucial college scholarships for schools that they would otherwise be unable to afford. We are trying to send these kids to at least one camp at Boston College, with a price of $450 per student. It is imperative to continue to keep these students off the street and engaged in positive activities. Participation in the football team requires good attendance and grades as well as inspires self confidence. Anything that you can donate to help these inspiring kids level the playing field and succeed in their passion will be accepted with great appreciation. Even $1! You can send one student to camp with a $450 donation. All donations over $40 will receive a framed, signed team photo to hang in your home or office as a gift of gratitude. We would advise holding on to it....one of these kids is bound to be the next big thing in football!
