Help build our Family through IVF

Spende geschützt
Please help us raise awareness for fertility challenges, as well as additional funds to help aid in our second attempt at In Vitro Fertilization.

Please know that we are a hardworking, financially responsible, independent couple. It's been incredibly difficult to ask for help, but the cost of IVF (again) is significant.  And through our openness in our journey, we have been told by family and friends they they would like to donate. We found this is the best platform to help everyone feel a part as well as gain awareness for infertility and endometriosis and hopefully make change in the way people view the personal need to conceive. We pay thousands of dollars in medical insurance every year, though once diagnosed, not one penny is covered by insurance for anything related to fertility. This needs to change, and I pray the more people are willing to stand up and talk about their story and need, the louder our voices will be heard. We hope by speaking up here, it will help further ignite this important conversation of infertility. The action we hope everyone takes is to share our story to raise awareness of this issue.  And for those in a position to give, know that even the smallest amount will help.

**Our Story**

Brian and I met at the age of 18 and instantly became the greatest of friends. Though life had different paths for us then, it did bring us back together a year later. We started dating shortly thereafter and never looked back. We are now going on 12 years strong  and we could not have asked for a better decade + together. We have been married almost five years and started to try to build a family about four years ago. No one expects to go through rigorous treatments to build a family, but that is what it came down to when it wasn’t working the natural way. We have tried years of acupuncture and eastern holistic medicine, changing diets and exercise, stress relief and vacations to no avail.
In the end of 2012 I was diagnosed with a large cyst on my left ovary that wouldn’t go away, it was there for a while and would not shrink. My OB/GYN wanted to do laparoscopy to remove the cyst in early 2013. During surgery they found stage 3 endometriosis and could not remove my cyst without removing my ovary. It is hard enough conceiving with endometriosis, now I only have one ovary.
We have continued to stay positive through everything and were able scrape up enough money for our first attempt at IVF in late 2014, which was initially successful, though we had no surviving eggs for future attempts. We were excited, but remained cautiously optimistic. Sadly, we started to miscarry on my 31st birthday, almost eight weeks in. This lasted for about two months.
It has been a tough transition following the first unsuccessful IVF treatment. The emotional and physical tolls have been tremendous. Now this is where you come in, we are ready. Ready to do it all over again!!!  Why, because we want a baby, a teenager, an adult and eventually grandkids.  We are ready for the sleepless nights, the constant worry and crazy schedule because we want to see a kid that has my husband’s humor and smile with my eyes and positive attitude... We are READY!
So, as we start the next cycle of daily injections, appointments and blood work, we will remain focused on the outcome. And if not through IVF, then through adoption, if that is the path God plans for us.
So, with our heads high, our minds focused and YOUR HELP and SUPPORT, we will beat infertility.
