Negrita and Alex's Vet Bills

Lio and Kiara had 10 beautiful puppies on August 23rd, 2014. Lolli was able to rehome 7 of those puppies, but as you know, black dogs and cats are harder to rehome. Alex, Negrita, and Lea were the 3 remaining pups and Kiara's spay date was getting close, so Rachel wanted to help by fostering Alex.
Rachel picked up Alex on Nov. 14th but he fell on the 16th. He was taken to vet on Monday the 17th where he tested positive for parvo. Rachel decided to hospitalize him as it was the best option for him to recover. He was vomiting and had begun to have blood in his diarrhea. On Tuesday, he doing neither worse or better.
Tuesday night, Negrita fell ill and Lolli took her to the emergency clinic where she tested positive for parvo as well. The vet's recommend treatment for Negrita and Lea as she had been exposed to the virus. Wednesday, Alex was getting better and Negrita seemed in a livelier mood and was eating a little, however, they were not out of the dark yet.
Thursday the vet released Alex from the clinic as he was doing better, but his health declined as the day went on. Negrita's health also declined and hospitalization for both was the best option. Friday they were hospitalized but thanks to a friend, they will be transferred to a new clinic that will help cut down the costs.
Lea is currently showing no symptoms so she is being treated at home. She is as happy and energetic as a puppy should be and if she continues like this, she will be vaccinated soon.
Combining the costs thus far of all the pups, the vet bills are mounting up to over $2,500. We have no problems in showing vet bills if needed. All we want is for the pups to make a recovery so they can live a wonderful life. Unfortunately, neither of us can afford these high vet bills so any little bit helps more than you can imagine. We'll be forever grateful for any aid you can provide so we may cover the costs of their bills. Positive vibes are also appreciated!
Thank you.
