Murphy Owls Need Help To Soar

Murphy School is a pre-k to grade 8, neighborhood, Fine and Performing Arts School in Chicago. Murphy has achieved the highest ranking as a level 1+ school. Our students are predominantly Latino and are at 85% poverty level. Murphy started with only girls and boys softball and has now expanded to include basketball, volleyball, soccer, and we hope to continue to grow.  The importance of sports for our school is not only health related but encourages team work and  community/parent involvement in support of our teams.
Murphy as well as the rest of CPS elementary schools have lost funding for our athletics program and we need your help. Funds will help pay coaches stipends, referee fees, and team uniforms. Please donate on behalf of our athletes who deserve a chance to have more of these life long learning experiences.
