Walter is a 6 year old Saint Bernard currently in a Foster Home through Wisconsin Saint Bernard Rescue!
Walter has been in foster care for 3months. He is such a sweet boy! So mellow, loves to lay around, and loves the kids and dogs that he lives with.
He has packed a lot in the three months he has been in his foster home! Walter has had to have 2 surgeries on his paw for a cyst. After his second surgery, he has had some medical setbacks. He is currently on a special diet (8 cups plus 2 cans a day!) and has been diagnosed with elevated liver enzymes. We will soon start looking into hollistic therapy to help with this as well as continual follow up and lab work with his vet.
As you can imagine the vet bills are starting to pile up. We are already at almost $1500. With being a smaller rescue, this type of dollar amount can really impact us.
We would really appreciate any financial assistance to aid in Walter's recovery. Not only will this help offset the costs that we've already had but it will help aid in his future care as well. Thanks so much for all your help!
