St Louis trips in May & June for kidney donation.

This is a story about friendship, hardships, strength and a little bit of luck. I met Jami last summer at the gym in a bootcamp class. We became fast friends. A few months later, her health took a turn for the worse. And then I offered her my kidney.

I have a few more St Louis trips in my near future in addition to the transplant trip. Here's a quick breakdown of the upcoming expenses:

Day trip for last round of cross match tests (blood work)

Day trip to meet with Brandi's surgeon

Day trip to meet with Jami's surgeon

3 nights in a hotel 

Food for 5 days 

The transplant date is set for JUNE 19!!! We will go to St Louis the night before. My stay will be 3-4 days and Jami's stay will be closer to 8-9 days.
