Clayton Leonard Treska Scholarship

As a birthday/college-graduation present to me, I would like you to please donate to this one-time scholarship initiative that I've established to honor my father, Clayton Leonard Treska, who passed away from his diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia this past summer.
Since I was a young boy, my father always wanted me to earn a college degree. And now having achieved this lifelong endeavor, in honor of him and his legacy, I have established this one-time scholarship to provide support to a special college student striving to achieve a higher education and is in financial need.
Here is how this scholarship will work:
1. All person’s who donate to the scholarship are invited to our birthday/graduation celebration, and are encouraged to nominate a college student who is in need of financial support.
1a. My birthday/graduation celebration will be held December 20th, 2014, from 5pm to 9pm, at the Rabbit Hole Bar and Restaurant, 3377 Adams Ave, San Diego, CA 92116
1b. You can nominate this person by sending me their name, contact information, and where they attend college. All nominees have to be 18-years of age or older, presently attending college while taking no less than 9-units a semester.
2. Once the funds are collected and a list of the nominees is compiled, we will reach out to your nominees not later than January 1st and ask them to submit a 500-word essay on one of the following topics:
2a. Why do you deserve the Clayton Leonard Treska Scholarship Award?
2b. What would you do with the scholarship award money?
2c. What do you plan on doing after you graduate?
3. Depending on the amount of money donated and number of applicants submitted, we will have a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards.
3a. 1st place will receive 50% of your donations if the targeted $2,000 is not reached, or $1,000 if the target is reached.
3b. 2nd place will receive 35% of your donations if the targeted $2,000 is not reached, or $700 if the target is reached.
3c. 3rd place will receive 15% of your donations if the targeted $2,000 is not reached, or $300 if the target is reached.
3d. If the total donations amount to more than the $2,000 goal, the remaining funds will be donated to UCSD Moores Cancer Center in La Jolla California to aid and assist the scientists and researchers in their effort to find our cure for cancer.
