By best friend has a "Brain Tumor"............
"Jenn's Chain of Events"
On November 6, 2014, Jenn's husband Tim had undergone a Spinal Fusion. Due to this extensive surgery Jenn never left his side during his recovery time in the hospital. Then on November 8th Tim was released from the hospital into Jenn's loving care. The morning following his release, Jenn was attending to Tim and that is when she got dizzy and collapsed. Jenn suffered a nasty concussion and was taken to the hospital by ambulance as her blood pressure would not stabilize. The Reading hospital did a CT scan and discovered a large "Meningioma" on her front left quadrant of her brain, which was putting pressure on her Carotid Artery and Optic Nerve.
Jenn is scheduled to have "Brain Surgery" in the beginning of December, to remove the tumor. The Doctors have stated there might be a possibility that a small amount of the tumor will need to remain in place because it is right on the Carotid Artery. If that occurs then radiation treatments will need to be scheduled soon afterwards.
Jenn and Tim prepared and made plans to pay for the cost of his surgery. But now with her upcoming surgery they are going to be in desperate financial need. Tim will only be going back to work when Jenn's surgery happens. They are a family of 7 (5 kids) that will be facing large medical bills during and after the holidays. Instead of focusing on her recovery they are going to be so overwhelmed with money concerns.
