In Remembrance of Mark Gottwig

Donation protected
On November 1st Mark Gottwig was hit by an SUV while crossing the street in Pacific Beach. He spent many weeks at Scripps La Jolla in the ICU where he under went many surgeries and later was transferred to Kaiser Zion. With the severity of the brain damage along with the many injuries and infections, the family obliged to Marks wishes and went forward with comfort care. Mark passed away with no pain and a smile on his face the morning of December 22nd.

Mark was volunteering for the Pacific Beach Surf Club the weekend of the accident and had been an avid member of the club. Besides his love for surfing, Mark was known for his love of his Harley and of course the love for his daughters. Mark was a genuine person who is always making others laugh and going the extra mile for others. Mark truly had a heart of gold and was a friend to many. He will be greatly missed and his spirit will live on in memory.

During this time his family needs financial support to pay the extensive medical bills. Any donation will help and no donation is too small. Mark's family would like thank everyone for the support and continuing prayers.

We miss you Mark and we know you are smiling down on us while surfing on all the waves and riding the Harley into the never ending sunset.  ♡
