Peter Herr, Fire Recovery Fund
Donation protected
On the evening of Sunday, November 16th, our good friend Peter Herr was alerted to the sound and smell of fire, which started in the garage of his neighbors’ common-wall townhome. He immediately exited the home, with nothing more than the clothes on his back and his cell phone. Luckily, everyone in his building escaped without injury, but in addition to his neighbor’s unit, Peter’s home took the brunt of damage. He has likely lost 95% of his belongings (access is still restricted).
Any of you who know Peter can attest he is one of the most genuine, selfless individuals one can encounter. He is always the first person to volunteer to help friends and family in need, so this site is intended to provide him a head start on getting his life & home back in order. He’ll undoubtedly have many unforeseen costs beyond what insurance will cover, so please feel free to donate what you can.
Thanks for giving & happy holidays.
