Big Photo Project Needs Funding

My name is Marc-Antoine, I am a photographer and a student from Montreal QC. I LOVE photography, it is my passion and it has been for a very long time now. I have been doing it for a good 5 years now and professionally for 2 years.
Lately, I've been doing a lot of cosplay photography. It is something I am very passionate about and I am starting to become well known for it.
I have decided to start a project that I've named "Alter Ego, A Cosplay Before & After" which has got a whole lot of intrigue in the cosplay world. On the first day of announcing the project, I've received 171 messages of people interested in taking part in this project.
The project is, like the name says, a before and after of a cosplayer. The object is to show the work that goes into every single aspect of making cosplay and the transformation of the cosplayer, incorporating some wacky situations to spice it all up.
I have already started shooting locally for this, but with a lot of the interest being from out of town, I'm going to need some financial help. None of the participants are being charged to be part of this project and are all doing it for the love of cosplay and photography.
What I would do with the money is, first of all, use it to travel for this project. I have shoots planned in Quebec City, Ottawa and Toronto this summer and it would cost quite a bit to get there for me and an assistant (who are helping me out of the kindness of their hearts and interest in the project).
Secondly, it has come to my attention that it would be necesary to get new gear for this project. My camera has been great for the past five years but doesn't produce the quality I want for the project. I am thinking of maybe bringing this project further once the shoots are done but I would need to make sure that the quality is optimal for whatever I decide to do with it (picture book, vernissage, etc...).
I am offering a couple of rewards for this, some will be limited to the city of Montreal but there are some interesting ones in there.
In the end, I have to say thank you. Already I have gotten a lot of support for this and I know I can't do it without every single one of you. I can't wait to see what will become of this whole thing!
