Aiwass Temple of the Temple of Thelema will be performing the Thelemic Mass at the Occult Art Salon in Salem Massachusetts on September 28th, 2014
We've created this gofundme campaign because our Mass equipment was damaged in a flood and we don’t have enough money to transport the mass equipment to Salem from New York.
Your contributions will enable us to repair the equipment and safely transport it to Salem and back.
The Thelemic Mass is a distinctive ritual of Temple of Thelema based on A.'.A.'. Liber XV: Ecclesia Gnostica Catholica Canon Missae (written by Aleister Crowley in 1913).
93% of Liber XV is still there. The other 7% has been re-written it to remove details distinctive to other thelemic orders. To correct the gender balance in the Mass, we have included a list of the Female Saints. These small changes enhance the magical and dramatic power of the ceremony tremendously, working on the solid basis already present, and enables it to reach a wider community.
As a token of our gratitude, donors who pledge $500 and upward will receive a T-Shirt, and a copy of the book "776 1/2" by James A. Eshelman. This practical book has been regarded as a great tool for any thelemic magician, and you'll find in its pages, the script of the Thelemic Mass along with 10 sample magical rituals.
