Please Help Tattoo Joe

“Tattoo Joe” (Joe Crossen) has been a Winston Salem legend for decades. Joe was born in Winston Salem in 1935 and has called the Twin Cities home since then. Besides being a tattooist, Joe was a sideshow performer, musician, snake show operator and so much more! A few years ago you may have seen him performing at local street festivals with his mandolin and chromatic harmonica.
Almost 80 years old, today Joe fills his days with free performances at local nursing homes. Unfortunately, this week Joe was involved in a car wreck which spared him, but not his car. Because of this he is unable to meet his commitments to these nursing homes and their residents, which saddens him no end. Joe would never ask for this for himself, so friends of Tattoo Joe are asking for your help in getting Joe a new set of wheels. These nursing home gigs are just as important to Joe as they are to the residents. Any amount will help!
