Miguel's Fundraiser For Film Class

Hello visitor, my name is Miguel Maldonado and I'm a provisional film student.

This semester, I am taking a film class that requires me to complete a couple of projects, an individual project and a group project. 

For the group project, we must create a budget for the film. The budget will mostly cover equipment rental, property rental, props and catering for the cast and crew. And also, gas. Expensive, expensive gas.

Here's the basic premise of our group project:

A man is released from jail and plans to start making changes and move on from his criminal past by living a modest life with his girlfriend and 6 year old son. A run-in with his old boss, a local druglord, alludes to his past and debt he owes but brushes it off. After several failed attemps to obtain a job to support his family and bills stacking up, he considers going back to his old ways. Does he go back working for the druglord, or does he find an ethical solution?
