Hotel Help 4 Displaced Family

Our family moved to DC last year into a privately owned apartment. The day after we moved the ceiling fell on me while I slept. I was injured and hospitalized. I lost my job the day I returned to work from being injured. The landlord offered a lease that grants us free rent for three months as a result and if I hadn't found a job by then we would talk about how much longer we needed. A  month later we were paid a visit by who we learned were the new owners. Apparently the landlord knew the building was in foreclosure before he rented to us and the building was bought from the bank . They were not interested in honoring our lease, saying it wasn't his problem and didn't want to let us sign a new lease from them and shortly after took us to court saying we were squatters. To make a long story short we were removed from our apartment. The shelter intake center has nothing for us, housing programs are closed all over, subsidized housing list are years long, we are in need of housing.  For now we are staying in hotels, which is really hard because I am still not working and my significant other is carrying the weight of 4 people with his income and hotel cost eat that quickly. I am looking for work, i am in a work program that is helping me find work as well. We are in need of help with funds so that I can report to the intake center that "Yes we have somewhere to go" because they will contact CPS if I don't. And we don't have any other options as far as friends and family to stay with. My kids (9 boy & 11 girl) are in need of uniforms for school, they are well behaved straight A and B students and have been soilders thru this whole thing. I am in need of interview/professional work clothes so that I can help my significant other get us back on track. But it will take financial help to do that.
