Former University High School and current Northridge High School math teacher Taylor Hall has been displaced from her home of 20 years just two weeks before Christmas.
On Monday, the high winds blew a tree into her home and made it uninhabitable. Taylor has rented this home for 20 years. She raised four boys -- all who attained the honor of Eagle Scout -- in this home.
The home is unstable and she is unable to even retrieve her belongings until the tree is removed and the walls are stabilized.
Her boys are out of college this week for Christmas and have no where to go. Taylor is currently in a hotel. Because she rented the property, she is on the time table of the home owner.
Taylor is a single mom living on a teacher's salary. She recently also totaled her car. This is no way for a family to spend Christmas.
Let's rally around the Christmas spirit and help the family with their emergency living expenses and allow them to celebrate the birth of Christ worry free.
