Help me, Help Guatemala!!
I would like to take part in a medical mission trip to Guatemala July 24 - August 9, 2015, during my summer break between my first and second years of PA school! While in Guatemala I will be working with a group of people to provide basic healthcare needs, women's health education, train health workers, implement public health projects and support community development in rural villages. This will be a great experience and give me the opportunity to practice my skills/knowledge from my didactic year of PA school while helping a population in need!!
In order to make this happen I need to have money for travel expenses, which is where YOU can help me! Because I am a poor PA student living on student loans and almost zero "free" time, I am asking for your help with funding!! The exact breakdown of expenses are listed below and if you have any other questions please let me know!
I could not be where I am today without so many of you who have helped me along the way! I appreciate all of you!

Food, Insurance, $1300
Transportation,
Medical Supplies, etc
Pre-trip Training $25
Hotel Stay(s) $150
If, by chance, I get more funds than my goal, the extra money will be donated to the non-profit organization that I will be traveling with.
