Help me attend 3% Conference

Beautiful people,

Thanks for being a part of my story, and supporting my work.

I am passionate about using my creativity to inspire, educate, and to contribute to the well being of others.

I am a full-time Creative Director, and I work hard to use my time and talents to make a positive impact in the world, and in the lives of the individuals I work with. This year I produced a documentary for a non-profit that supports survivors of Human Trafficking, designed and directed a national sexual assault prevention campaign, and designed and directed numerous filmmaking programs for Students of the World, helping up and coming creative students launch their career. Outside of work, I love being an ongoing creative catalyst for my friends and people I encounter, helping them bring their dreams to life.


There is something that's important to me and I am requesting your help:

Only 3% of all Creative Directors in advertising are women, and there's an amazing conference called The 3% Conference in San Francisco, out to help us thrive.

The 3% Conference exists to champion female creative talent and leadership by offering content, community and professional development - and I would like to ask your help to be able to attend.

This year it is being held on November 3-4, which are the two days leading up to my 30th birthday on November 5 :) I am asking my friends and colleagues to consider donating to help me attend.

Why the 3% Conference is important to me:

1.) Since only 3% of Creative Directors are female, community and support are invaluable. At the conference, I will be able to make connections with top creative directors in the industry, who can serve as mentors and collaborators.

2.) I am passionate about supporting up and coming female creatives, and this conference will enable me to be a better teacher, mentor and role model to the younger women I work with now and in the future.

3.) In the Creative Director bootcamp I will learn more about business models of Finance, HR and Operations. This understanding and knowledge will help me be a better businesswoman and run my own ventures now and in the future.


What I'm asking for: $12 from 100 people

The conference costs $1,212 and I work for a non-profit that is not in the position to subsidize the cost. I am optimistic that I know enough generous people in my life, that if 100 people contributed $12, I would be able to attend. Help me make this happen! :)
