Help Lyubov Zinger Beat Cancer

Donation protected
Lyubov died on January 31st... Hopefully she had no pain, she was on strong pain medication. I still don't want to believe it. Thank you so much for your donations, support and  prayers.

I hate posting this update but suddenly Lyubov started to feel a lot worse. She can't move or talk anymore. Her husband and her daughter are going through horrible time right now. Nurses are giving her only a couple days or even hours to live.

We are going to continue helping Lyuba's family and take as much as possible off their shoulders.

Thank you so much for your donations and support. They mean so much to the family!

Lyubov found out that she had Stage 2 Breast Cancer in 2012, 6 years after giving birth to her daughter, Eva. Unfortunately, after a year of chemotherapy and 33 rounds of radiation, it spread to her bones and she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer.

Within 6 years she has gone through non-stop series of complicated and traumatic treatments, tests and procedures, such as double mastectomy, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, hormonal treatment, biopsies, PET scans, MRIs, multiple ER visits, which have often left her in excruciating pain, absolute despair, and overwhelming fear.

In 2017, she suddenly started to feel much worse as it turned out that metastases spread to her liver and their amount increased in her bones and spine. In October 2017, she had a serious fracture in her right arm because her bones were weakened by metastases. She had to undergo a surgery to install a metal rod into the bone of her right arm. The surgery lasted 5 hours and anesthesia caused significant complications, so that Lyubov had to spend a week in ICU.  Her arm still doesn't function properly.

In December 2017, she went through 10 sessions of radiation of tumors in her spine, left leg and right arm. It caused severe side effects: extreme weakness, vomiting and rapid weight loss.

In February 2018, she underwent another surgery to insert a metal rod into her right leg and left arm. This was done preventatively, to avoid another fracture.

At the moment, she is undergoing intensive chemotherapy. Lyubov is having very hard time walking because a spine tumor pushes a nerve and causes severe pain while moving around. She needs to do another round of spine radiation. Almost every day she has doctor appointments and treatment procedures. Her husband is the only one working in their family and he often has to take her to appointments during his work hours. He is not able to make enough money to pay the bills and keep the family afloat. He cannot work full time because he also has to be her only caregiver.

Despite all of Lyubov's extreme health challenges and life hardships, she is fighting cancer in order to be with her 11-year-old daughter, Eva and is staying optimistic that she will prevail and go into remission. The young girl needs her mom and she is very scared of losing her. They don't have anyone else to help financially. Luba's parents died from cancer not long before she was diagnosed herself. The only hope is generosity of caring people around them.

At the moment, we are collecting money for alternative treatment to boost Lyubov’s immune system, recovery after chemotherapy and radiation and hopefully a stay in one of alternative clinics for further treatment.
