Help Kathy Fight Cancer
This is Kathy and her beautiful daughter Marilyn. Kathy has Hodgkin's
Lymphoma, a cancer of the blood . In the Summer of 2010 Kathy was
diagnosed with lymphoma, she did 6 long months of chemo and in February
of 2011 she was in remission. In July of 2012 her scans showed no signs
of cancer.
You can imagine her shock and fear when she discovered a lump this
August. She was just diagnosed with a relapse of lymphoma. Every relapse
is considered stage 4 cancer and requires extremely powerful chemotherapy treatments.
In Kathy's first battle with cancer, she inspired everyone who knew her with
her strength and her drive. She has always been a phenomenal mother and
you could see that even through her cancer, Marilyn remained her first priority.
She HAD to beat cancer, for her daughter. There was no choice involved. She'll do it again with your help.
This website is dedicated to help Kathy beat cancer again. Kathy has a
government job that does not pay into State disability and she also owns
her own healing business on the side. She is unable to work at either
job during her treatments and won't be receiving a paycheck or temporary
disability. She is hoping for long term disability which will take
about 5 months if accepted (fingers crossed).
By donating, you're
helping to relieve the
pressure and worry of her bills. Kathy shouldn't have to move out her home
and uproot Marilyn from
her school. She should be free to focus on fighting cancer and recover
in the comfort of her own home, with her daughter by her side. Every
donation
will go to paying for food, rent and bills while Kathy undergoes very
difficult chemo therapy treatments. Make a difference in both of their
