I'm looking to help this family out. Patrick was an 18 college student majoring in finance and playing on the football team when tragedy took over his and his family’s life. He unknown had walking pneumonia and was found way too late. Once he was being treated his body shut down and had a cardiac arrest and seized. Now at the age of 21 he is dependent on his family. His father devotes his life to taking care of his son. There is NOTHING he won't do for him. The family does not have enough money to purchase a van to help them transport his son in his wheelchair. So his dad was able to get ahold of a free hoyer lift and transfer him with it from Patrick’s bed to his wheelchair and then proceeds outside to his small pickup truck and then hoyers Patrick in the truck. He then disassembles the truck and puts the hoyer lift and wheelchair in the back (mind you, if it is raining he then uses a tarp to cover up the equipment so it does not get wet), he then does this all over again to bring to where he is going. He had come to me for 40 treatments Monday thru Friday and never missed an appointment. When I saw how this was all done my heart just fell. This family definitely deserves the help to get a van to make their lives so much easier. PLEASE HELP!! DONATE WHAT YOU CAN! This family is so deserving of it! Thank you!
