As it might have come to your attention directly and indirectly, Nepal was impacted by disasters earthquake, which took many lives and damaged large infrastructure. Where any and every help makes a difference.

Greater Atlanta Vedic temple society would like to thank each and every one of you who contributed your time, effort and money in helping those in need.

As you might be aware that Greater Atlanta Vedic temple society (Atlanta, GA) has initiated the reconstruction of Shree Panchakoshi Sec School with the authorization of Department of Education Nepal and the School development community, as a phase one project.


Shree Panchakoshi sec school located in remote village of Chapakot VDC, as confirmed and authorized by Department of Education Nepal, the school was damaged by the earthquake. Where the school is currently running with the help of tent and bamboo. (Since monsoon has started it is not an viable option any more)


As a latest update, the reconstruction work has started, where necessary items like cement, sand, bricks, rods, windows and doors has reached the location. (please find the attached pictures here with this email) And the foundation work will start in Next few days.

We will update you with more detail as we get them.
