Meet James, a sweet, loving, four year old boy who has cerebral palsy. James has many challenges that he will have to overcome in his lifetime. Currently, he is unable to stand, walk or talk, but he can tell you a million words with just his eyes. He was recently diagnosed with cerebral palsy and moderate hearing loss. He has had cardiac surgery as well as several other diagnoses. To help him achieve and reach his greatest potential, he requires intensive therapies that are very costly on top of the mound of medical bills he currently has.
James currently attends speech, occupational and physical therapy twice a week. He also attends hippotherapy and aquatherapy. His greatest gains have come from attending intensive suit therapy (therapy designed to help children with cerebral palsy), which is out of town and costs $7,200 for three weeks. Unfortunately, his health insurance gives James a limited amount of hours for therapy, which is never enough. This requires his family to have to reach out for help to offset the costs of his medical bills and therapies. James' family never expected to be in this situation, but love and support that they have received has touched their hearts.
There are no words to explain the joy a parent gets when they see their child take his first steps in his gait trainer at four years of age. James would not have yet reached this goal if not for intensive suit therapy. He has been able to accomplish so much more in these three weeks than his traditional therapy can in months or years. Unfortunately, since it is not offered locally, the cost for the therapy as well as staying out of town for three weeks is daunting.
If we reach our $1500 goal, James can attend almost five weeks of physical, speech, occupational, aqua, and horse back therapy.

Funds raise beyond our goal will go towards the $7,200 cost of intensive suit therapy.
