The monies I ask you to give will fund a living allowance for two Tanzanian staff and cover the school rent and running costs for 2015. It will also cover the renewal of my medical insurance and allow me to stay and finish what I have started.

Help me help the kids of Good Hope

Here is my story:

In  September 2013 I embarked on the biggest adventure of my life. I packed up my bags, rented my house and came to Moshi at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania to volunteer for seven months.

Today, fourteen months later, I am still here. I lost my heart to the people, the culture and the plight of the thousands of vulnerable kids here. I wanted to stay longer and help make a difference. I wanted to work with a small, new grassroots NGO. I am on the crest of the hill to making that difference to the lifes of the kids at Good Hope

Help me help the kids of Good Hope the price of a bottle of christmas cheer will make a big difference here, we don't expect tinsel or crackers.

I need to ask for help to stay and get over the crest of the hill. My personal finances will run out, the rental income on my house has been reduced by a third in favour of a buy option and my savings are nearly gone.

I want to remain until at least the end of the summer next year in order to ensure systems are in place to secure the future of the Good Hope kids. In that time I will continue to empower the Tanzanian people driving the NGO with their love and vision. I need help to pay my rent and to renew my medical insurance. The small monthly income from my house covers my modest living expenses.

Good Hope has eighteen wonderful kids secured in their second year of a sponsored education programme.

There are currently 26 kids attending the free education school provided daily by Good Hope and we are seeking sponsorship for at least ten of those to start in an education programme in January 2015.

These eight Good Hope kids monopolised the results all being placed in the top 11. 

The monies I seek to raise will enable me to finish what I have set out to do. It includes funds to provide a living allowance / salary for two Tanzanian staff and cover the school rent and running costs for twelve months.   

With these things in place I will be able to move onto the next chapter of my life knowing they have a stable base for continued success in the quest to provide love, education and the keys to life to all within their community.
