My furbabies' medical bills

Hello. My name is Sonnet, I'm a loving long-distance mother to my furbabies, and I'm asking for your help.
I currently attend the New England Conservatory in Boston, MA, and my sister, Tasha, houses my cat, Derp, and dog, Spot, in New Jersey. I am financially independent from my parents and pay for all my living expenses and tuition myself, but I help Tasha any way I can since these are my animals. I try to help her with whatever extra funds I have from my own earnings, but as a 20 y/o college student working two jobs, attending school full-time, and has her own medical bills from a hospital stay in April, this is extremely difficult and financially draining.
Spot, a loving and loyal 14 y/o Shih Tzu, was diagnosed with heart disease with associated kidney failure in the winter of 2014, and out of the kindness of Tasha's heart, she continues to take Spot to her vet visits (often weekly) and pay for her medications to stabilize her symptoms and keep her as pain-free as possible. Spot will likely die from this, but both Tasha and I believe Spot deserves to live out her twilight years with proper care until she can no longer live comfortably. However, her medical bills are becoming overwhelming and impossible to keep up with.
Derp, a cuddly 4 y/o Maine Coon, was having trouble relieving himself about two weeks ago. Soon, he wasn't eating, and Tasha rushed him to the vet. After several costly tests later, it was discovered that Derp has crystals formed in his urinary tract that are forming into stones. To prevent this, Derp has to eat exclusively prescription cat food for the rest of his life... cat food that is $51.99 for a pack of 24 cans! Luckily, we have been able to find a discounted price of $40, but this still leaves a hole in one's wallet.
