Help Santa get a Sleigh

Ok I feel stupid for doing this, however we keep saying we will do this and I just don’t seem to be able to prioritize enough money to pull this off when one comes up. I have found an antique Sleigh in Heber I would like to restore and utilize in my Santa Claus portrayal. For those unaware of me. I play Santa Claus. I have for 10 years now. It is a labor of love. I do it to see the smiling faces of children to bring magic and Christmas memories flooding back into the minds of both children and adults alike. My goal is to remind the families I visit the true meaning for the season, the birth of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. I am merely a messenger that the children will pay attention to me because I am Santa so it allows me to bring them this special message.

We do take a good portion of the money to help those that will otherwise go without Christmas, then Santa delivers it to those families in need with some food etc to help out.

So I face the dilemma of cutting out any additional help with families in need and I could buy this. I just cant see us doing this as we help those we find in need, I don’t think we could turn away from doing this.                              

 I decided to try something different and allow others to help Santa as a community then I could continue on helping families in need and we would all share the burden more. If this doesn’t work I will still get this and restore it. I am just asking for your help as a community. It would be much less of a financial burden, and I fear I may lose the opportunity to purchase it as I take the time to save the money.

For 10 years I have given my heart and soul to you and your children. I have gone to the highest degree of perfecting my suit and portrayal of Saint Nick to make your Christmas special. In doing so I have become Santa in so many ways. Our family has become more in love with Christmas and in doing this, this would be a wonderful way to bring us closer to restore it together and make it happen.

Love is a ring. What we give out tends to come back around, so I am hoping my family giving to others for so many years will come back around, I don't expect you to put yourself in a financial hardship but for those with extra blessings if you could give just a little would go a long way.

 **** ok an update to this, we were scared of losing the sleigh, so I got rid of my pride and joy to obtain this. I traded my classic car for this sleigh. I had planned on selling it to get the needed funds to restore the sleigh properly to its former glory. So we are retaining the go fund me account to get a good start on the restoration. I will still need to cover the rest of the restoration costs the go fund me doesnt cover. Thanks so much to those with such big hearts, you instill in me faith in the human nature, I am doing this to bring more light and love to children and families alike and to make lives better, your help does the same for me.
