Live Artist Network has been growing a lot over the past year and we think it is time to find a homebase.  It is important for us to find a location to do business from, meet new clients, and organize ourselves for further expansion.  We are moving towards some big things and this will be just the first step of many.  As many of you know the first step is always the most dificult, but I think with your help it will set us off on the right track.

 

The new office will have many functions, but the main focus is to allow us an opportunity to create a sellable product and develope a sales force.  We will be focusing on advertising and sponsorship sales, and putting together packages to sell to small businesses and distributors. 

 

We have actively been pursing Festival organizers and press in order to create a menu of advertising options for businesses to choose from.  We currently have several publications and festivals interested in doing business with us, and just waiting on us to be ready to go.

 

So, time is of the essence, as we only have a short window to get started. We have located a potential location that is perfect for what we are planning on doing (but time is a wastin').  The price is right, location is prime, and it will allow us to settle in for the longterm.

 

Here is what we need.  Pretty simple, Rent and Move in costs (I estimate roughly $3500). Other than that, when we settle in, we will need donations (Furniture, Art, Office stuff. Etc) to make it the coolest office in Portland.  Also there is a potential to share the space, as there are more offices than we will use until we grow. We have taken the good things that an agency provides (promotion, booking, production, recording studios, press contacts, venue managers/owners, touring support, artist development etc.) and blended them with the concept of an Artist Co-op. Knowing that all members provide connections to the people, resources and supplies needed to be a successful in the music industry, the stress caused by being "on your own" goes away. With the "Network" on our side, we are able to be self-sustained. TOGETHER WE ARE ONE!"
