Help Katy get to Boston!

Katy Bradley is a very special, intelligent young lady.  She is a sweet girl who spends her time either learning or spending time with her family.  Recently, she received an invitation to The Congress of Future Science and Technology Leaders for kids with a gpa of 3.5 or above.  This really excited her because she has always loved science and technology, but it is a huge expense for her family.  The day after she received this letter, she obtained a job at a local fast food restaurant.  Katy is bound and determined to go and is trying to make the money on her own.  I have managed to get a partial scholarship for her, but even with the partial scholarship, there is still the cost of airfare, lodging, an escort because she is a minor traveling alone, and food which amounts to just under 1800 dollars.  Katy has been a peer leader in the girl scouts, and has been recognized by st judes for her fund raising efforts which helped raise hundreds of dollars for the children at st judes hospitals.  Please help make her science dreams come true!
