"Help get kids off the floor!"

Donation protected
Please help a school/orphanage in Uganda provide a good night’s rest to 600 boys and girls sleeping on the floor. Kids range from 3 to 23 and sleep on hard concrete every night with little to no blankets. These children are studying hard to rise above the abject poverty they live amongst. Help these children sleep well and pursue their dreams.

My goal is to raise funds to have 200 “triple-decker” bunk bed units fabricated, complete with foam mattresses. Each unit has a cost $120 so for $40 dollars, an orphan can experience the joy of a real bed during their childhood. This is a large project but with many helping even giving a little can help a lot!

More information on the cause: My friend in Uganda (Mpigi District, near Kampala) helps direct a private orphanage/primary school for children who live on-site. Starting in 2015 with only a handful of students, in five years they’ve grown to serve about 600 kids. They grow their own food and firewood and pump their own water, all without the luxury of electricity. Despite the circumstances, there is joy in the student’s hearts. At Siloam Mountain Junior School, children learn and come to know the God who loves and cares for them. Here they can gain a vital education to break the generational cycle of poverty that plagues their corner of the world.
It hurts my heart to see limited resources forcing these children to sleep on the hard ground. Together we can make a huge difference in quality of life for these students.

*Money raised by this campaign is deposited in a private account in the U.S.A. until the amount is adequate/cost effective to wire to Businessmen's Fellowship- Uganda where it is recorded into an official ledger for accountability and proper recording of fund use -the school/orphanage director can make written requisitions of funds for the commissioning/fabrication of beds as this project progresses. Requisition requests are followed up by receipts and photographic verifications. Periodic site visitation is conducted in person by BMF-Uganda representatives to verify quality and intended use of acquisitions. Withdrawal amounts are for a stated use pertaining to this campaign's intention. So far amounts dispersed have been averaging amounts equal to costs of acquiring 20 triple bunkbed units per order.
