Help fire hit small crisp business
Leighton Brown Crisps is a small friends and family run company making tasty vegetable crisps. They lost all of their stock and equipment in a warehouse fire in Tottenham recently. The fire occurred on September 18-19th, 2017. Thankfully no one was seriously hurt (one person minor hand injury) but the business these friends spent years working so hard to built is in danger of closing.
Cara, Chris and Dom built their business while working other jobs, without financial backing just using little personal savings they had. Their business grew from word of mouth from happy customers. They have some big and exciting orders in the pipeline but without the funds to pay for stock/new warehouse/equipment quickly they would not be able to fulfill their great potential.
We estimate that insurance will only cover 1/5th of what was lost. We are working tirelessly contacting our clients, suppliers, insurance company, building owners, banks and anyone who might be affected by the fire. The challenge has taken its toll on this group of hardworking friends mentally, physically and financially, but there's light at the end of the tunnel. We had some savings and have raised some money from family and friends and we now just need £10k to make more crisps, get new premises and we will be back on track.

Why are Leighton Brown so special?
We are three ordinary people, three friends - like family really, originally working in social care and as bar supervisors and chefs while building the business. We worked all hours under the sun to take the business to where it is now. We had no investments or big advertising campaigns just word of mouth spread by people who loved the unique and quality vegetable crisps we make.
Our crisps are gluten free and made with all natural ingredients and a great addition to the crisp market that is mainly run by big business and corporates.
Over the years our crisps have won 5 separate Great Taste Awards at the Guild of Fine Food Great Taste Awards. We have so much passion and a great product and we are not ready to give up.

The campaign was set up in a bit of a rush and we haven't had a chance to properly consider how we can thank you for your support.
After a brief discussion we decided that we will offer the below. Naturally we need to get production running first and will start contacting you once our crisps are produced.

£40 - £100 - Two week's supply of our crisps
£100 and more - A Month's supply of our crisps.
