Healing Jason

Earlier this year I noticed an abnormal lump in my urethra. A biopsy confirmed that it was a tumor and I was diagnosed with cancer. Huntsman Cancer Institute informed me that this cancer is very uncommon and they had never seen a case like mine. The tumor is in a place that is not treatable with chemotherapy or radiation so it was proposed that I have surgery in attempt to remove the tumor and to remove lymph nodes that “may or may not” be cancerous. The surgery suggested was very experimental and exploratory with probable outcomes that were not very promising. I was not convinced that this was the answer since the doctors are pretty much baffled with no definitive answers. I decided to seek a second opinion and reached out to Cancer Treatment Centers of America. We flew to Atlanta and through a series of tests it was confirmed that I had cancer. Unfortunately, the surgical prognosis was even worse than what Huntsman proposed. An extreme surgery was recommended to remove my bladder, prostate, and urethra. This would leave me wearing a permanent catheter and unable to do many of the things that positively improve and contribute to my quality of life as a young adult. Again, I was not convinced this was the outcome for me since there is no ample data or history as to how to handle my situation.

I know that the body is able to heal itself when given the right things so I have made an extreme lifestyle change. I am eating clean and I have eliminated toxic things in my life. Additionally I am on extreme juicing. I have also decided that instead of opting into life altering surgery I will fight my cancer with natural protocols and treatment methods. These methods I’m using are being monitored by a Naturopath/MD and have been used successfully in treating cancer but are not approved by the FDA and unfortunately not covered by traditional insurance. These treatments are expensive and will have to payed for 100% out of pocket. I have had to leave work on disability in order to allow my body time to heal properly.

The last few months have definitely been a crazy life-changing ride, but here's what we DO know. GOD is good, we have a PLAN, we have the FAITH, and fear is absent. Please send positive thoughts and keep me in your prayers. The "self-preservation" in me refuses to quit. Although it appears sad, I rejoice at the blessing given to me. I have been assigned a task by the highest power. I was told through prayer that I will survive this, I will go on to inspire others to take control of their own destiny, and I will make a difference in the world.
I will provide updates and want you to know that I will be ok. Just keep praying.

With Love, Jason
