Heal Her is a community-run art and activism festival supporting environmental justice and women's empowerment.


Empowering ourselves by sharing knowledge, stories, and rituals, we transform personal and social narratives to end violence against women and the Earth.

Heal Her's first festival took place in Mexico City  in April 2018, with 150 participants who gathered to share stories of trauma and healing through talking circles, poetry, art, and workshops.

Burning Man Global Arts Fund funds highly interactive, community-driven works of art that is accessible to the public, civic in scope and prompts the viewer to act.

Daza Filmes is a women-run Brazilian production company which featured Heal Her in "A Thousand Women", a documentary on artists combating gender-based violence.

ABOUT HEAL HER
Heal Her is a global action for healing and prevention of sexual violence. Meeting in talking circles worldwide, we create rituals for storytelling, consciousness-raising, empathetic listening, and collective healing. Working with artistic facilitators, therapists, and healers, we provide creative and holistic methods for addressing sexual trauma. We have held events and festivals in Los Angeles, New York, Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris, Barcelona, and Mexico City.
