I'm a single mom from Oregon who had a larger than life dream... to PROVE to the world that ANYTHING is possible if you are willing to Hustle, and Believe in your dream you will Receive it!
To prove my mission I began interviewing successful people from all walks of life in June of 2014. I wanted to write a book, a manual on how real people like myself and those I interviewed became self-made. I had no agent or book deal, yet I still managed to interview NFL and NBA players, coaches, CEO's, lawyers, business owners, authors, and even a candy maker!
In November of 2014 an agent named Beth believed in me and my mission, and that became the official begining of my book Hustle Believe Receive. In December we had three publishers present offers, and I signed a conventional book deal with Skyhorse Publishing in New York. My dream had taken flight!
In June of 2015 I completed the most grueling, yet rewarding six months of my life, turning in my 390 page manuscript on time.
Now it's time to celebrate and kick off the global #HBRMovement!! I've had the vision from day one that all 52 people featured in my book would come together in New York for a huge VIP red carpet launch party, to celebrate this amazing global movement that's being created. I also want to share this with those who've supported me along the way, but I can't do it alone.
As a single mom I don't have a budget for this event, and it's outside the realm of the publishing world. I need YOUR help to make this ultimate dream come true not just for myself and my children, but for all those who've become part of the #HBRMovement along the way. This party is for all those hustlers out there, dreaming of a life that seems so far out of reach, yet choosing to believe and work towards it anyway. This is for all of us who've started from nothing and built a life we are proud of.
