Hawthplay Fundraising Campaign

My name is Ronald Lashley I am a former New York City Board of Education Music Teacher. I studied in England, Germany and graduated from Berklee College of Music (BA) - Boston and Columbia University (MA). I am a Flautist, classical, jazz musician and Church Organist. In 2014 I resigned from teaching to create Hawthplay Records (Record Label). My Resignation was due to the fact that Music and arts programs have been severely cut from the city's budget and have deprived our youths from music education. My record label primary goal is to discover, help and educate kids and artists alike in a possible music career by developing their talent and enhancing their performing skills through recording. Hawthplay Records is unique in contrast to other labels. We are skilled in many genres including jazz, classical, R&B, Bossa Nova, Blues, hip hop and Gospel. Since the establishment of this record label on September 11 2014, I have invested my personal savings into creating this company into a legal registered LLC company in NY State, I have also invested over $13,000 into creating a  recording studio which saves some of the high recording cost.  Due to recording deadlines we have to use other studios to accomodate our various artist and  projects which are always ongoing. We are constantly producing music and are presently working with  artists here in New York, Connecticut, Brazil, Japan, Wales UK and Texas to name a few and have recently released 3 singles and 1 album. Due to high recording, promotion, rehearsals, production, marketing and artist development cost we are hereby asking for financial help in making this venture possible.
We have also started a Discovery tour which will take us to local schools and colleges to discover talents.
